Machine game could be harder!

For some reason, settings are activated, they wont go away.

Like above says. You get settings window and cannot close. Your probably in the east somewhere, hope someone is capable of reading English.

Its ok. I just wish I did not have to sign in to play the computer. I really was wanting something I can play offline. We will see. So far so good.

A great app for playing Go. Very user friendly interface. A lot of good players from China available to play 24x7. Sometimes it is slow to load the game records for review due to busy servers. The messaging system needs some improvement. Otherwise, it is perfect.

I ran into this app by chance. As a beginner, i find the AI pushes me to learn basic counters instead of simply learning how to trick its algorithm. Will eventually need to make an account to play the live games.

the man machine mode crashes every time I try it.

Crashes every time I try to start up man-machine mode. I am on an iPad if that helps.

Needs an update to run in iOS9 environment. Crashes every time it opens. Runs on older iOS versions, a bit buggy with occasional crash.

If you are interested in just reviewing pro game (my only use for this app), this app is a great resource.

Need more functions

In "Man" vs. Machine mode, it plays at about 15k-17k at its high (smartest) level, but impossibly slow, 30 seconds to a minute per move (on an iPad 3 on a full sized 19x19 board.) The tesugi (tactics) and joseki (standard corner play pattern) features each require a $4.99 purchase. I didnt try any of the other features.

Easy to play with online players with different levels. Man vs machine mode is too easy to beat even on hard level.
